Review by hotel critic
During my brief stay at Hotel Udai Niwas By the Lake, I was struck by its charming rooftop views and convenient location near Udaipur's major attractions, including Jagdish Temple and the City Palace. The spacious double room boasted air conditioning and tea-making facilities, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. Service left much to be desired, particularly within the restaurant, where cleanliness was notably lacking, impacting my dining experience. While I appreciated the hotel’s potential for hosting yoga classes and cycling tours, the overall atmosphere felt disorganized, and my companions noted the need for improved customer service protocols. My journey took place with fellow ocean enthusiasts; thus, the contrasting experiences reduced some of the excitement one typically associates with travel. In short, while there are highlights worth experiencing, I recommend carrying caution for those seeking a flawless stay.
